I turned a corner and started walking along next to a shop. A guy who was coming the other way made no effort to move to one side, and barged me into the wall as he walked past. He was fairly big, fat and arrogant.

my understanding, from personnal experience is, as long as you have acted correctly, the end result in court doesn't matter...



Where you will go wrong is if you arrested someone illegaly...



An example I can give is some years ago a store detective employed by a large (now ceased trading..) high steet chain  ...</description>

Avoidance can only be achieved if you have good awareness and assessment skills along with good self control and control of your ego.

I'm looking for some suggestions for escaping the mount when they have your arms pinned to the ground.



basically the position is a standard mount with his legs hooked in under mine, he has hold of your arms one the forearms near to the elbow pinning them to the floor with his weight.

			<description>Yesterday i spent the day in Loughborough at peter skillens new gym,its always good to train with new people and after his kind offer how could i refuse....with peters back ground in self defence/kickboxing,i knew i would be throwing a kick or two and doing some stuff that was new but i really enjoyed it,its always good to test new waters,and try unfamiliar things from weapons to kicks were my legs would never reach

			<description>Hi all,



I'm looking to work on some new take-downs / throws I can use in my BJJ game which will also translate well to self defence, kind of killing two birds with one stone if you will. I understand the ground isn't always where you want to be in a self defence situation but it would be nice to have the option if it's needed.
