Alone in the wild

Post by Peter Skillen on Fri Sep 25, 2009 12:29 am

Just watched the final part of this channel four series where ed wardle survived the in the wilds of the forests for 50 days and filmed it. This is film making at its best, a true insight into the mind of man. it just go to show how much the human body can take and how powerful the human mind is. This guy has definitely got what it takes.

I Haven't read the article yet, but my first impression was he looked like he struggled to be honest.

But definitely great film making, and very open and honest and brave thing for Ed to do and put himself into the public view like this.

I too beleive he took himself to the limit no matter where that was...I was wanting people to look at the link and read the comments on the bottem by experienced woodsmen of the area and the point of the second post is that there are always those that try and put you down no matter what you achieve.....

what surprised me was he said it was a life long dream but he seem to have spent very little time preparing for it,i don't think he was ready for it mentally, but he certainly pushed himself and its experiences like that, that make you live each day to the full and appreciate what you've got, lifes just to short
