Hi
Thought I would start on the forum by saying hello. I have done martial arts for a short while, but now I am also looking more into self defence as it seems more relevant. Anyone got any good tips or ideas?

Hi Jamie
Welcome on board.
My first tip would be not to throw away anything you've learned up to now - there's always ways to work with what you have and modify it accordingly.

Thanks for the tip. I think that is very true, though I suppose the ability to adapt what I have/am learning will come with more experience and research.

You're in the right place here though, with some great company who can all guide you wherever you want to go with your martial arts and self protection training.
