Room 101

Post by Al Peasland on Thu Oct 02, 2008 2:32 pm

A little light hearted relief

What would you sling into your Room 101 - never to be seen again, if you had the chance?

I'll start the proceedings with.........

crocs!
Those mad plastic/rubber shoes
In particular - Families who have a pair for each family member and insist on all wearing them at the same time!
Who on earth told us they were cool and fasionable

Next please......... bounce

lol!

People who join the motorway at 50 mph slower than the rest of the motorway traffic

and sticking with the motorway theme

Those pretend police "traffic officers". Whilst I'm certain they do a fantastic and worthy job and one which I would rather them than me - considering some of the sights they must see; Why must they insist on whacking on their flashing lights and coning off absolutely everything. Causing miles and miles of grid lock due to one car with a puncture!

I actually witnessed them coning off the hard shoulder cos a swan was walking along it. They then stood staring at the swan. Not sure what they did with all the cones if the swan decided to walk a bit farther up the hard shoulder!

lol!

Otherwise my pet hate is people who wait at junctions, then pull out in front of you, even though there is nothing behind you, then do less than the speed limit!!!

Ha - I'm feeling the love for the crocs from you guys Laughing

Not convinced though - the only positive you have to offer is that they are comfy. Rolling Eyes

Moving off the topic off traffic related Room 101, I'd like to also place

Old people who insist on going into town shopping on Saturdays when they've had all week to do it. And then decide to walk really slowly and for no apparent reason, Stop right in front of you causing a multi-pedestrian pileup behind them

Cool

I love the blokes in the gym who feel the need to lift weights far heavier than they actually can, doing dumbell curls without actually straightening their arms - instead, just rocking their body forwards and backwards to swing the weight up Laughing

Or how about those that set the treadmill to a steep incline to do some up-hill power walking, but then hang backwards off the handles to make it easier Laughing
