Tried it out with the guy I train with and couldn't get much power in. Same with edge of hand. Different guys get on with different things so YMMV. I'm sure you could train it to be powerful, but my thinking is to get the stuff that feels natural good then maybe think about other strikes.

It is an excellent pre emptive technique IMO
You couldnt get power in it?

what style of chin jab do you mean, traditional like a boxer or the palm heal of the hand?

Yes, do you mean the classic WW2 version from close in, forearm and palm coming up nearly vertical under the chin (can transition into a takedown),or thrown from father out?
Face smash I think it's called.
Assuming a left side forwards stance the right hand is thrown like a boxers straight right but comes up and connects with the underside chin with the palmheel or straight into the face.

I too would be interested to hear from anyone who's used them for real and the results they had.
