    Where do you find the time?????

    I have a lot of friends who use the excuse......"but I just don't have the time to fit in the gym, or do a workout"..........

    There is always the time.

    I am a single mum of 2 gorgeous kids. Granted I have the luxury of working my day job from home, however there is always time to fit stuff in.
    I tend to be a bit of an insomniac and love the mornings.

    After dropping the kids off in the mornings I aim for a 2 mile run a couple of times per week. While the kids are relaxing after dinner and before bed I manage a weights routine in my garage too.
    I try to do a couple of grappling sessions in, usually just the one, but I will do 2 classes back to back if I can in one night.
    In addition to this I work my punchbag, skip and do the old sit ups and press ups in between.
    Not bad eh?
    So when I am working away and don't make the classes I don't feel too guilty.

    i feel a right wuss now, but, yep your right i always use it lol, dont always work though and i do have 6 kids and a business, there you see i have started winging already Embarassed

    i tend to randomly drop and do set of situps, squats, press ups etc. Usually run a fair few laps around the garden chasing the mrs's daughter around (generally being a big kid) When she's in school i'm on the weights and bags. I use the local rugby club gym as often as possible too. The key is not to find the time really but to make the time, and it's all down to dedication. I tend to go through phases where i'm glued to the games consoles for a few weeks then i get annoyed with my health deteriorating and before i know it, i've forgotten all about the games for another few months.

    Hey Guys

    Well unlike most people Jayne ( My Better Half ). LIkes to kick me out of the hosue to go training so she can enjoy some quality time. So i usually end up in the gym 3/4 times a week for an hour or so, most nights its just weight training for stamina and strength. then maybe do some drills with my training partner on focus mitts or bag work. dont really do a lot of cardio these days as I walk a fair bit. I may jog once in a while but lots of bag work and focus mitts give me a good cardio workout.

    Also, pressups, chin ups, two and one handed Wink and crunches. all to varying degrees, which if anyone has trained with Peter Consterdine his press ups are a killer so we try and add those in at the end of every workout. All in all pretty well rounded.

    And thats not inclucding sdf classes I do, or training my son either where we do lots of pad work and drills.
