I'm a lapsed traditional martial artist.In days gone by I had an interest in Ju jutsu and Aikido advancing to fourth Dan in one and second Dan in the other. A little of other things too,as you do. Also,spent some time training and instructing in close combat for the military.

The forum has been a little quiet of late, but I guess we all have lives to lead - but we do have some great names who pop along from time to time - so we're keeping the forum running even if it doesn't get much traffic

Ron. We made efforts to rid our board of petty nonsense (admittedly I was as guilty as anyone). You shouldn't really bring it here. To clarify - you were banned for consistent abusive and what can only be described as evil personal attacks on a guy called Perry Gamsby.

No need to feel relief. You could have left at any time. In fact you did.... and then came back in hours.... then you were warned.... then given a period to calm down and then, when you persisted - you finally got banned.

But Al and Mick will, of course, Moderate here as they see fit.

Sorry for the intrusion guys. You're all welcome back on SP Dot Com. I've mellowed with age and, as you remember, I have spoken privately with you both.

While I'm on..... Pete Skillen. I was easily as much to blame for those issues between us as you, and almost certainly more so. I am fairly obnoxious when I get going as everyone knows. Let me offer my unconditional apologies and hope you bare no ill will. I certainly don't.

As an aside we may still disagree what "positivity" means, but I sincerely hope that my apology to you falls well within both our understandings of the word.

Thanks for the PM the other day and as I said in reply, I have no ill feelings at all, and totally appreciate your hand of friendship.

I for one, had no idea you were on here as another member - but then that probably just goes to show how naff I am at this modern technology

Appreciate you offering your apologies publicly like this - says alot about the man, and also the offer to visit the SPdotcom site - I do still occasionally browse but haven't contributed for a long time.
To be honest, don't contribute on here as much as I should either!

There's plenty of nastiness and politics in the world without it filtering into little ole forums such as this.
There's also plenty of politics in the world of martial arts and self defence training. Fortunately, it doesn't enter my world at all, but then maybe that's because I just choose to ignore it and get on with training.

I'm no good at this keyboard warrioring business anyway - so choose to walk away
