I saw this a while back and couldn't get it out of my head for days...not in a bad way, just could not believe the determination and sheers guts of the guy. How can any of us complain about our lives in any way at all when there are men like this on the planet.

Haven't watched this clip but have seen lots of his stuff.

One thing that touched me greatly was in a clip where he talks about how he always wished for a Miracle to give him arms and legs.

He was angry that this miracle never came.

He also wished that he could meet someone older with the same condition who he could learn from and how could help him to get through it in his younger years.

Much later he met a young girl with his condition and he realised that, whilst you may not get your miracle, perhaps you're on this planet to be someone else's miracle.

    Fantastic stuff.

And don't get me started on the bit where he talks about worrying that he could never hug his wife or hold his crying baby. Then he realised that he could always hold them with his heart.

    Sad
    started me off again

    I must be going soft

Wow, truly moving stuff. What a fantastic attitude that guy has. Reminds me of the saying that goes something like 'I felt sorry for myself because I had ragged shoes until I met a man who had no feet'

Putting things in perspective can be a powerful thing.
