    G'day Empty G'day

Post by drgndrew Mon Jun 16, 2008 1:01 pm

    G'day Everyone,

My name is Drew Guest, I'm 35, Married (Kate) no kids, 1 cat and 2 cockatiel + 4 eggs

I'm a small RBSD provider in Toowoomba in sunny South East Queensland, Australia. I occasionally write Articles for Australia's Blitz Martial Arts Magazine and participate in a couple of other forums.

I'm currently furthering my knowledge by returning to University to complete a Psychology degree (not quite 1/2 way there). I believe this is one aspect of self protection that can be further developed/researched and I plan to be at the pointy end of that development, regardless, I enjoy and am fascinated by human behaviour and psychology in general.

I recognise a few members and hopefully one or two of you will recognise/remember me.

I'm not going to pretend to be able to offer what some of the experienced guys here can, but I hope to be able to contribute in a positive, helpful manner where I can.

    Hi Drew

Welcome aboard mate, another friendly face
glad to see you made it here, well done on going back to university it can be hard but very rewarding. Our friend Dennis Thompson on here is also into the study of psychology and human nature so there should be some good debates I would imagine.

It does not matter about the experience level mate, as we all learn from each other anyway, novices learn from the experienced and even the experienced learn from the novice. there is always something to be taught by someone.

I am sure we will learn lots from you a long the way.
I look forward to your contribution mate, and well done again.

    Craig

    cheers

    Hey Craig,

Thanks for the warm Welcome mate (and quick one).

Heading back to uni is one of the best things I have done. Kate and I are both at Uni so money is virtually nonexistent, but it's funny even living on 1/4 or less of our old income we're so much more happier. We're both finally doing what we want instead of doing what we thought we had to.

    Thanks again mate.
