    Strangleholds Empty Strangleholds

Post by SpiritMuayThai Sun Jan 17, 2010 12:51 pm

    Hi guys,

I'm looking for some alternative SP techniques for escape from two handed front strangle once applied. Thai up and over clinch release ok but not effective enough for my liking.
    All advice appreciated.

I can see the grass for the first time in three weeks. And the temp in the dojo was a tropical 3' when I trained this morning.
    What a treat .
    Hope the training's going well.
I know my answer was a bit tounge in cheek .But it is a good option. And the are loads of techniques for the front strangle. So I guess you should pick one and drill, and then drill it some more.

Do people really attack like that outside of films?

I have never known anyone actually attacked with a two handed front strangle.
But it is in fact the EASIEST of all the neck attacks to defend from
we use about 8 or 9 possibles in our training and grading.
