Students of Aiki krav maga Ami Niv Learn How to Protect Themselves Against Pedophiles
Recently there has been a growing number of incidents of attacks by pedophiles to innocent children which take place in various environments- over the internet, close to the home, and even within the "comforts" of home. These victimized children are left helpless, with no way to fight back or protect themselves. We, as parents, try to teach our children as best as we can to be careful and cautious with strangers, that there exists a possibility that a stranger could be a pedophile.
The founder of Aiki krav maga Ami Niv, and members of the parents committee of aiki krav maga designed a program to reinforce and strengthen the awareness of parents and children and to teach them how to deal with the threat of sexual attacks by pedophiles- either in the home, or in the environment.
Ami Niv assimilated into the program the necessary tools to prevent abusive situations from occurring. The program is composed of different viewpoints of experts in psychology, as well as simulations of attacks of a pedophile, and how to prevent the situation through the use of self-defense.
The program focuses mainly on techniques and tools for obtaining self confidence in the child, and thus how to act calmly in various situations. In this course the child will obtain the following skills:
- safety skillsand guidelines for a child alone at home
- who a child should contact if he feels threatened by someone who may be a pedophile
- ways of handling an attack or a kidnapping with or without a car
- ways of preventing sexual abuse of a child within the family
To conclude, this program was built and designed with the full cooperation of the parents and their input on how to prevent and assist their children, and how to provide for them the necessary tools which will help them on a daily basis.
