HAHAHA!! I've just re-read through this thread and if it wasn't a discussion to do with martial arts the last few comments could so be misinterpreted badly!

Re: Powerslap....
i have to agree with bob
i've seen loads of "positive" outcomes
if any of you have not had the chance to,try and catch bob when he's teaching some of his SAS fighting...enough slaps and mindset training to convert even a pressure point master
5 pence from bob spour is worth a million in any other currency!
at today's exchange rates....nah..at any time x

Re: Powerslap....
Yeah - totally agree there Mick.
I've now had the pleasure of helping Bob on a couple of his SAS Survival weekends and one of the main things I see in everything he imparts on the group is the constant mindset of "we will win".
From that point on - everything is done with the attitude of being victorious regardless of the odds or the level of threat.
How many times do you see a boxing match suddenly change dynamic when one fighter gets a taste for victory.
The opponent gets shaken with a shot and so the fighter goes in for the kill.
Nothing that is then thrown at him seems to make a difference - it often just bounces off un-noticed because his mindset has now changed to an !I will not lose" attitude.
(obviously there are exceptions - but this was just to illustrate my point).
If you have enough attitude you can make pretty much anything work
Mick does!
only joking Mick
Slaps are great - forget the intricacies of precise pressure points and targets - just bang it in as hard as you can - backed up by the right mind set.
Job Done!
