Olympics - Missing Sports Empty Olympics - Missing Sports

Post by Al Peasland Wed Aug 13, 2008 6:50 pm

Over the years there have been lots of sports that have taken out of the olympic games
    Tug-o-war
    Golf
    Cricket
Jeu de paume (I think I had that a few years back but the antibiotics soon cleared it up) Rolling Eyes
    Roque ???

    So I got to thinking

What sports would you like to see IN the Olympics???

    Cage Fighting perhaps?

    Muay Thai

    Sambo Wrestling

    Capoera

That volley ball game where you only use kicks, no hands, I think it comes from Thailand.

Not that I'm watching the Olympics anyway, lol........but if these were in maybe I would!

Yeah - I can think of a few others that would encourage me to watch more - but this is a family forum Smile

Long live the ladies beach volley ball - thats all I can say, although, the minute it starts to resemble the volley ball at a nudist camp - I'm switching off! No

    Great suggestions though.

Some proper Muay Thai would be great

    Tigger

You WISH you lived in the king town, spent a day in cov recently?
Chavs breed like they are trying to increase their numbers exponentially incase Mick T goes round kicking them like lamposts. Very Happy

    Jelly wrestling sounds like fun.

    And Al

Shame on you mate.... Chav bashing indeed.
I am not wearing the same attire as them to bash them mate. I dont look good in plaid. Better still Ill take the sticks and swing wildy one after the other.

    Next sport.
Melted choc wrestling..... In Bikinis, me being ref of course.

    cheers

    Craig - you're sick

Why on earth would I want to see 2 guys in spandex wrestling around in melted chocolate?

Perhaps you need to be more specific on the rules for the sport Wink

I reckon they should do a retro Olympics - same sports as many years ago and wearing the same clobber, using the same kit.

Failing that, naked womens volleyball, smothered in melted chocolate with whipped cream for the winning side - sorry, got carried away a bit there!

I Dunno I make one little post late evening and its Mis-Construed

    Rules:

Two Women, Big blow up swimming pool, loads and loads of melted chocolate.
Two very skimpy bikinis, and wrestling to a pin for 20 seconds. Depending on if the pin lasts 20 seconds or not, the winner will be decided on the most created restraint to stop her opponent moving Very Happy

And just for the record I am NOT sick, I just have an over active imagination, even so it does NOT include men, spandex and chocolate. see above lol!

    Tigger.....

Erm well what can be said.... Jelly wresting, I see our trains of thought are not too far apart.

Barrel jumping, on either roller blades or ice skates, with little padding for more incentive to clear the obstacles.

    cheers

Hey how about a few F1 drivers for the girls!

Right if we are off down this road! - I feel the need for my rules to my jelly wrestling:

    1) fit men
    2) men with money
    3) men in tight shorts and nothing else
    4) some jelly – or not it is merely an additional cost!

    yep that about covers it!

Sorry Tigger, I'd love to compete but unfortunately I have already signed up for the roll of chief female mud wrestling g-string post fight hosing and rinsing technician - gotta make sure the girls are all mud-free for the medal ceremony

Otherwise I would have obviously fitted in with your criteria perfectly - I even like jelly!
