Wow it's been 7 years today since the twin towers of the Word Trade Center in New York was brought down by terrorist flying hijacked planes into the buildings.
Lets take a moment not just to remember the victims of this act but the victims of terrorism everywhere, every nation in the world has experienced some form of terrorism. We In Australia have been relatively free from terrorist activity, but not completely. The Bali bombings was largely aimed at our fellow country men.
We have had terrorist activities swatted on our own soil by those relatively unknown Men and Woman of the various organizations and task forces in place to protect our nation and it's people from such acts.
If the the various terrorist organizations succesfully attack on Australian soil then we have emergency, medical, structural, protective services that we will rely on to help bring us back to "normal" to save lives we they can often at risk to their own lives.
Lets take a moment to thank those that have played that role and those who will maybe need to one day.
So join with me in taking a moment remember the victims thank the helpers and please join with me in hope that September 11, 2001 will never be repeated on any land again.
War is neither right nor wrong, it depends on the side you're on, but to resort to terrorism is pure evil.
