    Relief Empty Relief

Post by Abnett Fri Sep 19, 2008 5:43 pm

Right now i feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The past 3 years i've been studying towards my degree in computing and IT whilst pinning down 2 part time jobs and taking on a student rep/liason officer in my final year to boot, so as you can imagine alot of hard work and long hours (also only missed one training session during this time too!).

I had my results today and i've got the degree, not sure of the classification yet but considering what i've been through in the last 2 years alone in my personal life i'd like to add this is an incredible achievement if i do say so.

    cheers cheers cheers bounce bounce

    Thanks guys.
I'm worried the classification is lower than what i'd like but considering what i had to put up with and the distinct lack of help available i'm not too bothered. As long as i can find a job with whatever result i get i'm not going to complain.

Congrats Forest, it's a great accomplishment.

And just think, without having to spend all that time studying, more time for the gym.

Good luck with everything - well done

That's exactly what i've done, well, i've converted a room into a gym! Going to look around my area now for places to train and faces to train with.

Thanks tigger...........if i was to put up what i've been through and list all the events that have happened to me during the last 3 years i'd be typing a whole novel.
Rick : I've trained with you how long and i didn't know about your daughter!? Or have i had too many knocks to the head?

Anyone who's interested here's part of what i did for my disertation. A vehicle tracking system to help detect illegal cars on the road by using RFID technology. Those in london will be more accustomed to RFID systems in the form of the oyster card. Same technology different application and it's set to be the next big thing. We entered a national competition with this and came joint first.
