    want to get my S.I.A license soon. there are a lot of companies offering them on courses ranging from £100 £200.

    a lot of you guys have them, do you reccomend anyone ? or does it not matter?

    you MUST get them Les.. the rules are changing... there are new criteria coming..

    The SDF can now offer NVQ Level 2 in SIA, which will be the LAW next year, also there must now be a minimum of 4 hours "Physical Intervention" techniques taught

    be very choosy mate, dont get stung.. and frankly anyone offering SIA badging course for £100 is very suspect

    £200 is the norm, then the actual registration fee, £240

    Les,

    I did mine back in sept. just waiting for the card now. The course was £150, not too bad i thought and they fed and watered us each day!!!

    I think it is the sia that are the worst part about the process, they rekon 6-9 weeks to grant/reject the application.

    it can take longer than that depending upon the authority, mind you thats supposed to be something else thats under review
