Advertisting where do we draw the line? Empty Advertisting where do we draw the line?

Post by Guest Thu Dec 11, 2008 6:34 pm

    Hi guys.

just to let you know I had this come through the post the other day, and also into my mail account. so thought I would share the kinda stuff which is being shown around.

I placed it on another thread, to do with Al and advertising and it slipped in as an afterthought.

    Thoughts please.

Dave has already commented on it, and I know where I stand. NAP have produced some good material from Dave, Trevor Roberts, Lee Morrison, and Kevin O' Hagan its true. but is this just pushing things a little too far in the realms of self defence? personally I think crap like this should be stopped, and stop giving false hope to those who want dvds to learn from or instructionals, just not something which is this diabolical and ridiculous.

You cross the line when you start bullshitting or over romancing or lieing.

Be honest and truthfull and test what you sell to the limits before you put it out to market and you will reap the benifits.

I got this in my Inbox, read through it very quickly and discarded it. It's quite easy to see through this kind of thing but I do pity the people who think "wow, this must be amazing" NOT!

i'm thinking that it maybe time for me to share with just a limited amount of very fortunate distance learning potential foundation students my 'secret' quart of blood 5 point exploding palm technique.....which can, just by redirecting my Qi can also be used as a foreplay technique.....thats how it normally works right? Hahahaha
What ever happened to learning to punch hard? Oh i remember its covered in the newly released 'fence concepts' book !
the foreplay variation? I'll have it written in time for valentines day ladies hahahaha

Mick, we could be the Irish Ninjas...Craig's right. You with your Exploding Palm Technique and my Fist of Doom, we could go along way. And learning from Al Peasland's new book Fence Concepts, I will incorporate my verbal action trigger "Top o' the mornin' to ye" BANG...lights out lol!

Okay, it's more of a statement than a question to engage the brain...but my assailant will get all warm and fuzzy when he hears my Irish lilt Laughing

I thought someone was taking the piss when i started reading that. The unfortunate thing about it is that people will actually been drawn into buying this crap, and it's more commonly the couch ninja's that think watching some dvd like this will instantly make them 2 finger knock out ninjas! I pity these people. Razz

You've got me thinking...I might look into doing my own version of the Fence....but maybe call it 'The Hedge'. Like the hedge around a field, like ya know. If ye step to the hedge you're about to trespass on my personal property and we Irish are very fussy about our land! lol!

I'd want creative control over it....I'm picturing a tweed gi with matching paddy cap. I really think I'm onto something here. Maybe yourself and Mick could assist me on the DVD series...I can see it now! Shocked

Id be glad to help mate,
Im sure we could rustle something up, and it would beat the heck out of that ninja crap.

    lol!

    Tweed Gi, paddy cap.

    Passive Hedge,
    Submissive Hedge
    Aggressive Hedge

and one which means you still need to be able to protect your pint of guiness at all costs at the festive season. Verbal Hedge with pint in one hand and shilleglagh in the other waiting for a pre emptive smack on the bontz. till the agressor sees leprecauns dancing around his head.

    scratch
