Rugby vs Football Empty Rugby vs Football

Post by Abnett Sat Feb 28, 2009 2:33 am

I know it's not martial arts / self defence related but out of interest, who's what!? I.E. who's a football fan and who's a rugby fan? - I don't want this turning into a "What's better discussion" just peoples opinions.

I'm a rugby sort of person, blood subs, sin bin and i like eggs (badoom tish!) I'm english by birth, live 90% of my life in Wales, have a welsh mother and a south african father. I'm a bokke at heart but follow wales too.

Watched the wales v france match tonight, and ended up crying into my drink but france deserved the win.

As a sub-question, what's your opinion on supporters (rugby and football) I.E. Football not advisable to sit with the oposition, yet with rugby you can not only sit with the oposition but can also have a pint and a laugh with them during the game.

I went to the millenium stadium and watched wales v south africa last meeting and was shocked at the fact me and my dad both in springbok regalia were sat surrounded by welsh fans, and were being offered drinks by the welsh fans!!!
