HomeMy names Terry, I'm 47 years old. I started training in shotokan karate in 1974, I am presently a 5th dan in karate jitsu. I ran a club for about 10 years with a friend who taught aikido, which we taught separately and combined. I have also trained in ju jitsu, muay thai, tae kwon do, kickboxing, escrima. I am pretty much out of the club training seen due to a number of reasons which limit my time. I think all martial arts/ self defence systems, traditional, sport or street have value, I have read everything I can get hold of on martial arts and fighting systems, and just when I think I have found something to hang my hat on, I shoot off down another road or find something new in what I learned before.
