Unseen Dennis Jones Interview

The following is an interview I conducted with Dennis "Samurai on the Door" Jones in June 2006 when for research material for my book. It was never published and nor was the two part article I wrote later containing material from our interview. I have reproduced on my website as I believe it provides some valuable insights into the development of martial arts and self defence. Any feedback is most welcome.

James, the book has been a labour of love for nigh on 3-4 years now unfortunately, as so many other projects had to take priority. For example, my first book (not related to martial arts whatsoever) finally got published this year and took 7 years to write! However, I am glad the self-defence book has taken time, as I have been able to find out far more during this time and also develop a far better structure than when I first intended.
