I'm a chef too. I train in SDF once a week. I go to the gym on my split shifts for cardio and weights. I spend the rest of my time with my family
otherwise I'd never see them. Very Happy

I'm an engineer by trade, design engineer to be precise. Some notable achievements include designing the wheels and brakes for the Eurofighter aircraft, some gearbox design for Porsche and VW. I now work for Red Bull Racing - Formula 1 team, overseeing all things IT/CAD related in their Design Office.

I am also a Domestic electrician (although I have let my registrations slip over the past year) and Property Developer.

Oh, and a landlord - hoping thats going to pay off in about 30 years time!! Crying or Very sad

And now moving more and more into full time Self Protection Instruction.

I'm and a mechanical engineer workiing on power stations, refineries and pretrochemical plants world wide. I operate my own consulting companies with my long standing business partner Ian Gibbard who is a chemical engineer and my wife Jenny who does all the admin and finance. We run 3 consultancies: Power Plant Engineering; Progressive Thermal Engineering and Terranova International. I also run Fighting Fit Martial Arts (FFMA) togehter with my MA partner Alan Macdonald and with the support of all our instructors and students. When time permits I write for martial arts websites and magazines. My family are all involved with FFFMA.

    Good luck to all

I'm a Group Marketing Manager for a Bank in London.

Outside of work, when I’m not getting punched in the face, I’m a musician. My album is out through iTunes, but don’t bother, its miserable as shit.

Outside of that, I mostly drink.

    Hi Rick,

I'm on my tod I'm afraid mate and have to play everything, so I play guitar, piano, bass, drums and sing.

If you want to hear a few tunes then there are 3 full songs on the myspace page:

    http://www.myspace.com/affectionateabuse

Al, I can't access iTunes at work mate so don't have the link to hand, but I'm pretty sure its on the myspace page.

Anyone else out there a musician? We could start an SDF Band! afro

"Anyone else out there a musician?"

Er, well, no - I'm a drummer!! (thought I'd get that in first...
    :-P )

I can't say I've played properly for a while, too damn noisy!! But, I did once upon a time gig/record consistently for 10yrs in a coupla half-decent rock bands

How do I audition for this virtual band then?

    Hey guys
i was lead singer with a band called "eamon & the fibreoptics" in the late '80s
none of us were called eamon.... It was based on the fact our "mate" had a fibre optic camera inserted into a body cavity to check a bowel complaint....and it summed up our music quite well too! X
