I'm sure Mick won't mind me adding a new topic to this area of the forum - it's all positive stuff after all. ;-)

I am always trying to tick things off my list, things I want to do, things I want to see, places I want to go, etc.

    So what's on your list?
What ones have you already ticked off?

Tell me yours - I'll tell you mine

Maybe some of us here can even help each other tick a few things off

    Take care All cheers sunny

    Hey Al
    nice idea mate

Erm I had a bloody long list

growing up be a decent MA,

Meet some people along the way who could show me a thing or two ( learn from the best )

    Get a decent job

Travel to china, japan, nepal, Taiwan, etc

House, mrs, kids, mortgage ( well not the mortgage but hey ho )

All basic, I think, but I am working on the first constantly inside and out.

Ticked off the second, some of you guys on here so wont name names and make ya blush
    Very Happy

3rd one its a work in progress

Got the mrs, kids no mortgage yet, and not travelled to my places yet.

list is being added to all the time, so hard to keep track but they were the basics.

Now i Have ideas for a dvd, In the process of writing also, not sure where its going but its a journey after all.

    Good idea Al.

Well done to you karma for moving on in life and achieving some of your goals.

Likewise, quit the factory - check
Go to college / university / post grad study and become a teacher - check
Train with some awesome and inspiring MA'ists - check
Achieve a Black belt and progress in a number of different and varied MA without being tied down to one art - check
Become a qualified instuctor under Geoff Thompson - check
Start teaching MA and self defence - in september and it's a shit scary prospect!

I think a great idea iv learnt that can help you achieve more of the things you want in life is that of Ekhart Tolle - who says that if we're unhappy about something we should change it, remove ourselves from it, or accept it. (i believe the last option is a temporary solution before the first two)

By following this simple outlook we can do all the things we want, including ticking off the things we want to achieve. e.g. "i'm not happy that I havn't travelled and I'm going to change that straight away!"

I think without getting all mushy .
Sharing goals with like minded people makes some of things less scary.I mean some of the narrow minded people round my way is staggering.
So from there upward and onward to infinity and beyond sunny

    Thanks karma.

And yes Mick, I'm a well oiled powerhouse, minus a couple of pieces of cartilage i had removed from my knee. I've kept them so that i can slip them in an unsuspecting mates pint in the near future.

Are you and Al still battling it out with the sticks? Impressive to watch that is. I've got some crutches at the moment so I could join in...
