itinerary will be arranged to cover everything in order, starting from awareness, and leading right up to combatives and fitness areas.

this will definitely be one that you dont want to miss. if you can attend 1 seminar next year, make it this one!

As you can see, this is not one to be missed! only the best will do for you guys, and thats exactly what we have got for you.

Itinerary

The seminar will be conducted in half hour slots. each instructor will teach for half an hour, followed by the next instructor continuing where the last left off.
this will occur in an ordered format, starting from awareness and fence work, and following right through to combatives etc.
It will also be planned so that it starts off easy, and becomes more vigorous as we go on, so that noone is knackered in the first hour, and everyone regardless of fitness levels should be able to keep up.
a full itinerary of what each instructor will be covering will be added to this post when we have all instructors confirmed.

Cost & Venue

The cost for seminar entry is £10 for the days training to be paid in advance.
Fee's are non-refundable. once you have booked your place, we expect you to attend. (come on, its only a tenner)

NUMBERS WILL BE LIMITED!

food will NOT be provided, so make sure you bring a packed lunch, or some cash for the sainsburys situated across the road from the venue (preferably packed, sainsburys will be rammed if we all go there for lunch )
Also, equipment will NOT be provided, so please be sure to bring some focus pads and some gloves.
feel free to bring any spares for those that dont have any. dont rely on anyone having spares if you can help it, or there wont be enough to go around.
This event will be held at newi sports centre on saturday 21st february 13:30PM. seminar will commence 14:00PM and finish at 19:00PM.
the venue will be booked until 20:00PM to allow for mingling etc after training.

The venue requires everyone wear trainers/sports footwear to protect the floor. please ensure you adhere to these rules. thank you.

No deposits needed, at just 10 quid per head, we are offering the best of the best in one place so no deposit is needed.

We are trying to make it all about the experience, and the ability to train with a lot of the best in sdf in one place, for an affordable cost, we are not in it for the money just purely self defence, and maybe just maybe a fun day thrown in.

What an awesome line up. It'd be good to catch up with Sifu Carl Lewis again and be back on "home turf". I spent 3 years trying to get out of NEWI and now being dragged back! lol But i'm willing to move heaven and earth to get to this! Fantastic idea and i'm really looking forward to it! For anyone coming from over seas, where is the best airport to parachute into?

Liverpool or manchester, unless you want to be cheeky you can parachute into Aerospace in hawarden which is alot closer!!

manchester or liverpool airports are closest mate. both about the same distance away, so either or.

just an idea,leaving a bit of spare time in the day allows for people to chat and get to meet people from the forum properly,often its the chats that you get the juicy bits from

i been to seminars that are that rushed you dont get time to take it all in,or even meet the guys your training round

The way it is going to be spaced out mate, we are going to be allowing for time to talk and meet instructors and have a general chat etc. We have already thought of being rushed around and want everyone to experience everything to the full, so myself and Rick have taken that into account already mate, so no one feels pressured or not having enough time.
