Hello from Canada!

Hello everyone! My name is Conor MacPhee and I'm from Vancouver, BC, Canada. I am a Safeguard Consultant, which basically means that I teach a balance between combatives and crisis management (non-aversive physical intervention), to human services professionals in the health care and community living arena. Right now I'm working closely with a Health & Safety Team responsible for Violence Prevention in health care...hopefully to reinforce the necessity of moving towards an empirical approach to their technical (physical), component.

Anyhow, I have close to 30 years in TMA, RBSD, and Crisis Management (Prevention and Intervention)...and I'm still learning great stuff from some great people! So I look forward to picking the brains of the collective and hopefully, I may have something to contribute in return.
