Hi All,
My name is Simon Hutchinson, I train and teach at the Advanced Fighting Centre based in Newcastle upon Tyne. I do a variety of styles but my main style is Bujinkan Ninjutsu under the Ryuko Dojo. I also do Kick/Thai Boxing, Grappling, MMA, weapons both traditional and modern. Part of the syllabus that we teach is the BCA self protection work, the centre owner is graded to 4th Dan in Practical Martial arts by Geoff and Peter, and every instructor at the AFC (including me) is a registered Instructor if the BCA.
I have been training in "something" since I was 3 which adds up to around 30yrs in the martial arts, and one day I hope to get the hang of it! For me its all about the learning process, and if I do a seminar and I take one thing away then its worth it. I am not bothered about whos style is better as its the person not the style thats important.
I hope to continue to learn and thats why I have joined this forum.
