The Woman who Cannot Feel Fear

A friend sent me this link to a news article about a woman who cannot feel fear

She is lacking the important part of her brain that processes dangers and threats and triggers the fear emotion - the Amygdala

I'd read about animals having this part of their brain removed and the resulting lack of fear - but apparently it's the first known case in humans.

But I know of quite a few people that genuinely could not give a crap about anything, are not scared of anything. Its usually down to a shit upbringing and years of severe drug misuse.
