The new Martial Arts Standard magazine with me as editor hits the streets late this month for the 1st October. You can subscribe on the MASA website here:

    http://www.martialartstandards.org/magazine

The first issue features Chris Rowen Goju 7th Dan and Budo, has a articles on meditation, Chin Na, Ninja's (of course), Gavin King's write up on the Jizerka course, Sucker Punch the movie, other media on Woma, what MASA is, Child protection issues and the new ISA, Tai Chi and dance with Ruth Dathorne, a kiddies corner for the youngsters and letters and news.

First issues are always a collectors item.....

    Hi Steve,

The very best of luck with this.

Would be interested in making some contributions myself if you'd have them?

Mick and I are working on some articles together so will send across some of our ideas when we have it a little more concrete.

    Good luck mate

Thanks guys, I'm looking for good subject based articles with a short bio of the author at the end so that we get interesting reads as oppose to endless tournament round ups, boring course write ups (don't mind good ones about the subjects covered) and Justin whatsit's spinning round kick etc and people endlessly writing about themselves.

We'll have one good feature of a person a month, next month I've got a great feature on Mick Coup.
